The Nantucket finale..

What we've established about Nantucket:

-People like to serve chips and guacamole from hats to (the nicest.....) celeb chefs

 

-Fashion can be a little..understated.  The locals are not ( have I mentioned? We heart Nantucket locals. sigh..).  The boutiques are phenomenal!  Shopping is a unique experience with one of a kind clothing and accessories so tourists, mix it up and create a new updated Nantucket style.  Support local businesses! Who knows?  Maybe some fun bartender (Holly.THE best..love ya doll!)  will invite you to some hot party!     

-Wine festival..Figawi weekend..Film Festival..Comedy festival...or just a get away..what are you waiting for? It's all just a reason to buy new clothes!  The bonus is that you get a great island get away and new clothes! Win-win!

-The food..the food...I know this is a fashion blog, but in a way..this does pertain to fashion because I need all new clothes from the lb's I packed on from all those fab restaurants.  Eat out.  Eat often.  Drink out.  Drink often. 

And some Nantucket music.  Or rather music we listened to on Nantucket.  If this doesn't make you fall in love with something or someone.. you need to hit up Corazon del Mar for another margarita!

Seen it on Saturday-post pregnancy style

Nine years ago I became pregnant with my first daughter at which point I became a mother.  I thought my heart would explode while I anxiously awaited her arrival.  Imagine my surprise when I first laid eyes on her and realized how much more I truly loved her.  Now I have two more and even though there are times when I want to throw in the white towel, I see those smiles and my heart just melts.  Preachin' to the choir right? We love those babies of ours.  

Pregnancy, however, does take it's toll on a mamas body, so without further delay, seen it on a Saturday, post pregnancy style.

-I used to have a chest.  And by the miracle of Victoria I can again.

-No one told you about the hair falling out part.  It's ok..this is brilliant.  The whole line..

-It pains me to do this, but take a long hard look in that mirror and be honest with yourself.  Spanx-kicked up a notch. All the Hollywood A-listers are using them.  Not something you parade around in.  But honestly, the woman who created them must have worked at NASA they're that crazy out of this world good.  (off topic, but anyone remember that scene in St. Elmo's fire?  Rob Lowe + that actress? it's all I think about when I see these..moving on..)

-How's your skin treating you these days? All over the place?
