Hope you were inspired by our last post to get out there and really live up these last weeks of summer!! Kate, Chrisitina and I are all mom's and what we have learned is that it is so important to really give thought on how to balance your life and make time for you as well as your family, your friends, your job etc. So that when you reflect on your life you find yourself smiling inside and out.
This summer if you looked into my beach bag, between the goggles, sunscreen and the silly bandz (UGH) have we had enough of those things yet or what?!!! Any hoot you would always see the latest issue of Lucky magazine and more often than not you would be hearing me telling my friends beach or poolside... " I love this Magazine!!"

I think that it is relatable to us everyday Mamas. It is easy to read and is loaded with great products and fashions that are affordable. The July issue was... The Luxe for Less Issue!! The Lucky Editors were challenged to put together an issue that everything make-up, accessories, clothes etc, must cash in for under $100! They certainly rose to the challenge!!! Beauty must haves for under $5 and up to $25!! WOW!!! We all have different beauty issues and this list covered them all and for under $25! I know I am repeating myself but I just Looveed it!!!
Also in that issue Beauty Editor Jean Godfrey-June tells us what is in her beauty closet!! She gushes over a product called Kiss my Face... Peace Soap $15. The bottle has peace written all over it in different languages and a portion of the proceeds goes to a fantastic world-conflict-resolution summer camp in Maine!!
They also do a lot of giveaways and have great imagination boards loaded with clothes that are accessible to us and also affordable for example....... Affordable summer dresses... best options for every figure and under $200!!! Are we sold on this magazine yet or what!!!!
Kim France Editor in Chief of Lucky Magazine writes.... We always believed at Lucky that a shopper is as proud of her bargain finds as she is of her serious splurges. I think this magazine is my soulmate!! It is like they know me!!! LOL!!!
Tomorrow I will be stuffing my shopping cart with the August issue of Lucky and will be singing in my head...... "I've got the golden ticket!!! I feel so lucky!!!"
