Sometimes jewelry is just something pretty to look at, and sometimes there is a story behind it. Meet Dawn and Alison, Two Girly Girls.
Even after picking the peanut butter out of our hair and the rice
crispies out of the fish tank, we still love our kids. And, we want to
show it, so after each of our youngest was born, we decided to
nurture a different kind of baby.
We love our children and we love wearing our necklaces.
We think you will too.....
and meet their handstamped, personalized jewelry.
"o" my goodness i love your necklace
The girly girls hand stamp their jewelry locally in Grafton, MA. Sound familiar? It's near the start of a certain running race that around here goes by the name of "the Boston Marathon". You may have heard of it, or..you may be a participant. Either way, runners, or friends/family of runners check out these:
You don't even have to place, to get these "medals", simply place your orders and Dawn and Alison will take care of the rest. What a beautiful surprise for the woman in your life crossing the finish line, or hey..Mother's Day is quickly approaching and the girls are sure to be swamped, so why not get your orders in now?
We didn't have the heart to ask them to run a marathon, but we did ask them to sit in the haute seat and we fell in love with them, and know you will too! Meet two girly girls:
1. How do the two of you know each other? Have you worked together before?
It was like when Thelma first met Louise....
2. How did you get started in the jewelry industry? Is this a first time experience?
Our modeling careers were going a little slow, so we figured this was the next best thing.
3. We love women owned businesses, especially locally owned ones! (insert high five!) . What are some locally owned businesses that you love and support?
Girls on the Go, Pecorino Cheese Shop, Cancuns Mexican Restaurant
4. What has been the best part of Two Girly Girls? What has been the hardest?
Bill Gates and Steve Jobs keep calling us for advice.
5. What advice would you give other moms starting their own business?
Stay positive--a negative attitude won't get you anywhere. A glass of wine helps.
6. How do you balance it all? Or do you;)
Ha Ha!
7. Tell us a little bit about these marathon inspired charms-are either of you runners?
We are big Forest Gump Fans
8. Guilty Pleasures?
Margaritas, Cuban cigars, competative ping-pong
9. Inspiration?
Our husbands. Winning.
Thanks so much girls, and maybe you'll come back + share your secrets for maintaining that coveted Baby Face!
