Mamas are hitting the slopes today! OK, we're not, but we are taking a trip down memory lane. My kids are home talking about "board pants" and "texting gloves". I'll show them. Their mom was no slump in the winter fashion arena back in the day. A little taste of my school days closet:
Rainbows! On everything. Unicorns too. How come all of our jackets were super puffy, but not so warm?
Moon boots, made all the better with rainbows....moons have rainbows right?
The LL Bean Norweigan Fishermans Sweater. I'll take the sweater and skip the fishing please.
And while we're at the 'Bean, how about a pair of Bean Boots? I remember showing up for hell Survival camp wearing these and all the hippies counselors just shaking their heads. I "survived" one day.
Vuarnet Sunglasses! I had this exact pair, with a tie back cord so they wouldn't fall off while I was skiing. Except I didn't ski.
A whale of a turtleneck. I also had them in rainbows and unicorns. Of course.
So if you didn't know me, you wouldn't have to be a detective to figure out that a. I grew up in the Northeast, and b. I was a bit of a prepster and c. had a thing for rainbows and unicorns. Tastes change, but one thing remains the same, I will always be a sucker for a good fisherman(s sweater). Stay warm mamas.
Um I NEED that rainbow jacket!
