Hello Mamas,
This past veteran's day I took my brood to see the movie Megamind. As we settled into the movie I heard Megamind say the following quote... I stumbled for my phone to record it...
"Destiny is not the path given to us, it's the path we make for ourselves!"
Brilliant!!! This movie was action packed and a few times I found myself busting out laughing. Naturally with Will Farrell and Tina Fey as the stars Hollywood could not go wrong! Especially with it's great message one that I chatted with my children about on the way home. Such as the quote by Tina Fey's character.. " I don't judge a book by its cover, but by its actions." We talked about how everyday you are able to choose how you live your life, the person you want to be and sometimes we get it wrong but it is never too late to change the path you are on. If it is the right path people will embrace you and cheer you on and it always feels good to do good things!
My daughter chimed in.... " Good feels good and always wins over evil!"
