One of our local favorites, Style Boston is giving away two tickets to Rowes Wharf Sea Grilles, Spooky Tea for little witches and monsters.  Parents enjoy a traditional tea while little ones sip witches brew cider, + tackle cookie decorating. Lookin' haute and spending naute at Target part I

Target..coming through yet again.... Part 1 in a series of lookin' haute and spending naute at one of our favorites, Target.  Today, let's dress up a little and spend a little.  And I do mean a little.  

ignore the high waisted heinous pants this model's wearing, and go get this jacket from mossimo.  Every women needs a blazer to dress up a blah outfit, and this tuxedo jacket is a steal-a steal-at 29.99.  Do those pants come up to her bra? Seriously..

Please don't wear these Mossimo Black Sequin Tuxedo Stripe Leggings to your son's basketball game.  Unless your son is Rajon Rondo.  Think holiday parties.  Think date night.  Think cocktails with the girls.  Think not picking up a few things at 7-11..

People freak out about color.  I don't.  Bring it on.  Don't be afraid to step away from the black..Add some color and no grey and khaki don't count.  Color people.  It's fall..Rich colors can wonders for that ghostly pale creamy skin tone we're all sporting post summer.  And strapless-show off those shoulders mamas, we've been carrying babies around long enough, there should be some muscle tone up there by now.  This strapless sheath is a lovely example, and at less than 38 dollars, a great price.

 

The LBD (little black dress) that will flatter any size or shape.  You can be an XS or an XL and this dress is going to work for you.  LBD's can be blah..this dress has details that make it fly-chiffon 3/4 length sleeves that show off the best part of everyone's arms-the wrists! The satin band at the bottom hits at mid knee (according to the reviews on site).  You can bend over to kiss the kids good bye and not shock the babysitter with your Spanx shot;) And this dress? $37.49.  That's fabu-LESS

speaking of Spanx, of courseeeeee Target, has Spanx creator Sara Blakely on board with her "ASSETS by Sara Blakely" Collection for Target and literally, it's like half the price of Spanx.  If you've never worn Spanx, then you're a liar.  Period. Maybe if you're in the 1% who hasn't..this is going to rock your world.  Ladies invest in good shapewear.  Please...

We have a lot of love for Texas given the circumstances (remind me again..who did they beat to make it to the World Series???). However, I have mucho famiglia in San Fran, and of course our haute California fans!   So a little bit of lovin' for our West Coast friends, and Giants fans!  Get out there and show your haute team spirit!
