Style Me Pretty Where oh where were you when I was planning my wedding?! Doesn't matter. I still come to get lost in your gorgeous photos and weddings day after day for no reason other than sheer eye candy. The flowers, the dresses, the brides, the everything. How on earth that many perfect weddings happen day after day is beyond me but keep 'em coming! And she gets bonus points..because she's...from Boston!

I bought every single one, and dissected them, word by word. I even hired her brother to DJ/light my wedding (who was fabulous by the way). It's thatgood. I even subscribed after I was married (yes. My husband thought I was nuts and still does for many..many reasons but that's another day, another post). Anywhooo...Wedding Style has gone on from a regional publication to a worldwide one, and features nothing but the best of the best. She also wrote the book on weddings. No. Literally..
These two sites alone should keep you thouroughly engaged (no pun intended) for quite some time. Congratulations Chelsea and ........well, whatever his name is, they are a gorgeous couple and Three Haute Mamas wishes them nothing but the best! And can't wait to see the dress;)
I will admit to being a lover of the Kardashian style. I think they hit it spot on in most cases and I love that even though Kourtney is a new mom, she doesn't have that new mom look that I sported for the first eight years eight months. I think the nautical look can be a little overdone sometimes but I am so in love this look I had to share. Simple, classic, yet haute. And by the way..the top and the skirt..H+M.

William Rast, Justin Timberlake and boyhood friend, Trace Ayalas designer line has announced that it will launch exclusive men and womens lines at Target stores across the country beginning in December 2010.
“Our guests have varied tastes and this collection provides the perfect mix of rocker attitude and laid-back appeal for men and women everywhere at affordable prices,” said Target spokeswoman Katie Heinze.
That sounds like me-rocker and laid back. Ok. maybe notsomuch, but check out William Rast and tell me when you're out Christmas shopping in December you won't be sneak shopping some William Rast for Target for your own Christmas stockings.
I have all these debbie downers around me complaining about summer being halfway over. Bleh.. The only good thing about summer being halfway over is the fact that the stores are making room for fall clothes (bleh..fall). However..I have been known to perk up when around a certain word.....

There was a time when I spent 75% of my days on the road for work. I always, always, always had my act together and could pack a bag in no time flat. Enter three kids. A dog. A real house. Oy. Now I'm lucky if I remember to actually bring my kids!

Kimberly here and I couldn't resist the chance to blog about a funny story. I attended my cousins College graduation last weekend and from that I was to go to an event in Boston. The event was held at the Ocean Club in Marina Bay and I knew I would be surrounded by young beautiful girls as this was a Competition to find The Face Of The Ocean Club. Knowing I was going to see my BIG FAT ITALIAN FAMILY first!! I really had a hard time deciding what I was going to wear. I wanted to fit in at the Ocean Club but I didn't want to cause a stir with my family. I can hear it now... " Has she gone mad!... Does she think she is twenty again!... Blah Blah Blah!! My inner voice said wear this outfit to the party and that one to The Ocean Club. Then I thought this is ridiculous I know how to dress, I'm not trying to look twenty, I want to look stylish and beautiful!! So I went with one outfit that I would wear to both. It was a babydoll style summer dress and some wedge sandals. Perfect I thought..........
Then I saw grandma!! Instantly the look!! I thought to myself.. Oh Dear! It didn't take her minutes before I got.......Kimberly!!! That dress is too short! A forty year old mother of four should not be wearing a dress like that!! Head shaking!!! UMMMMMmmmmm... first off I am many years from being forty!! and yes I am a mother of four!! So what!! Can't a mother of four push the envelope and embrace trends???!!
The answer is YES!!! The night was a lot of fun!! My friend Nicole who is also my fabulous hairdresser competed in the competition! I felt like I fit right in and I felt that I was stylish, age appropriate and in turn I felt confident..... I did get a lot of.... WOW!! I hope I look as good as you do when I have four kids!! hahaha!! and I was thinking.... I hate you cause you have rock solid abs!!!!
Will we as women ever be satisfied?!! The next morning my grandmother called and apologized, she said that she loved me and she was sorry for being so opinionated. I told her that I loved her opinions and I will get her back by blogging the story to all of the world!! A few words in italian later.. she ended with she was proud of me!! I LOVE MY BIG FAT ITALIAN FAMILY!!!!! The fashion critic in them and all!!!

You do what other moms do..You search for other moms, beg them to befriend you, share their secrets to looking so good/feeding their families/dressing their children/finding the best of everything/blah blah.. After having my first babe I was traumatized. Trau.Ma.Tized. Like deer in the headlights. I did not have a clue what I was doing, and here was alone in a town that I lived in for years, but had never really "lived in" after years of travel and commuting for work. I knew no one and it was the coldest winter on record. So I did what I knew, I turned to my trusty friend the iMac and all those mamas out there in internet world. I wasn't very fashionable back then. I could barely put two sentences together, let alone a matching outfit but I found that I wasn't alone, and there were millions of other mamas out there who'd survived first babies and even went onto..second babies....
Nine months later...I was one of those mamas.
I still use my iMac to turn to other mamas for meal ideas, fashion ideas and loads of other info only now I've got my matching outfit on. Most of the time.

There's also non "green" info like My top ten iphone camera apps, that are just fabulous if you are at all into taking photos with your iphone, a MUST read. Hmm..there isn't a box of Baft bacaroni + bees in that kitchen. I also think she just might be perfect, but I'll let this one slide especially if she continues to provide such deelish recipes like Mac, cheese + chicken bites, pasta with corn + ricotta and pizza muffins?! Yes, we would sooo be friends in real life. A lovely, informational site you will be lost in for hours, so be sure to have your Blackberry aqua fresca handy before you sit down!
Eye candy for all you fashionista mamas from a mama currently residing in Zurich, born and raised in Cape Town, and (love this) "lived, partied + worked" in Hong Kong for 5 years before getting married. My kinda gal. Phenomenal taste, beautiful baby and lovely writing.
