Kimberly here and when I think of my very own Haute Mama... I think of my mom. My mom never had many fancy things, she never wore Dior, carried a Louis Vuitton or danced in Chanel shoes but she has a great sense of style. She always is well put together and always in heels!! We tried once to sneaker shop for her and it was awful. I think that is why she hates to this day to exercise!! It is the sneakers!! I bet if Nike came out with a sneaker that looked like a heel it would change her life!! hahaha!
Anyway, whether it is a fancy party or my son's little league game her appreciation for fashion shows in her style. Not many women can say that they share clothes with their mom!! She loves to follow new trends even in her 50's but only if they suit her figure!! She is so much fun!
My mother's mother was also a so-called fashionista..... she knew what styles suited her, how she wanted to look and what colors worked best for her. Like my mom she was never in Dior but was always.... no matter what the occasion, well put together. My mom never lectured me on fashion, I don't even think I had ever seen her read a fashion magazine but when we would shop together we would admire a great jacket or a beautiful dress!! In sync we would appreciate great fashion that would capture our sense of style. I know now that I have learned this from them. They have given me an inheritance of style!! As I watch my 9 year old daughter experimenting with her own style. All I can do is wonder if she will embrace and carry on the Wallace woman's savvy sense of fashion!! Stay tuned...........
